Nothing typed twice
The invoice sent in Bill, the receipt approved in Spend and the payment in the bank arrive as entries. You check them; you do not enter them again.
Ledger keeps the books from what Bill, Spend and your bank already know. Invoices, payments and expenses arrive categorised; you review one queue, your CA signs off, and the returns are ready before the date. Priced per business, not per seat: free to start, then ₹799 a month for the whole business.
Product design preview · Ledger has not shipped. All features, screens and prices are proposals.
Everything on these pages — the screens, the features, the prices — is Centilio Ledger as designed. Ledger has not shipped: it sits in the third wave of Centilio tools, and there is no app, no beta and no launch date yet. We would rather set out the whole design and say so plainly than publish a thin page and let you guess. Join the waitlist and you will hear first; if you need an invoice today, the free invoice generator works now, with no sign-up.
This is the Ledger screen as designed, running on a fictional business, Neem Tree Interiors: bank lines waiting for a match, an expense Celia is unsure about, and October one review away from closed. The data is invented and the product behind it is not built yet.
Most bookkeeping software starts with an empty register and asks you to type in what already happened. Ledger is designed to start from the invoice, the receipt and the bank line, so the job left for you is a review.
The invoice sent in Bill, the receipt approved in Spend and the payment in the bank arrive as entries. You check them; you do not enter them again.
One review queue, a bank reconciliation that explains its own difference, and a close button that locks the month once the numbers agree.
They open the same books with a role of their own, see who did what in the trail, and take the year-end pack in the files CAs already use.
Celia categorises, reconciles and flags what looks wrong, then drafts the month-end summary for you and the working papers for your CA.
For each new line, Celia proposes an account from your past entries and your rules, and says how sure it is. It matches payments to invoices, including the single transfer that settles three of them, and explains any difference it cannot clear. When something looks wrong — a supplier booked to a new account, a tax code that does not fit, a receipt that never arrived — it says so in one sentence, with the entry linked.
It never closes a month, never changes a closed period, never files a return and never moves money. It prepares; a person approves; the audit trail records which entries Celia proposed and who accepted them. At month end it drafts a summary in plain words, and at year end the working papers, both for a person to edit before anyone else reads them.
24 features, each designed and placed on a proposed plan. None of them is running yet.

Sample screens, not connected services.
Businesses that outgrew a spreadsheet and do not want to become accountants. Ledger is built for the owner first and the accountant second, in that order.
If you run a finance team consolidating many companies across countries, Ledger is not designed for you yet. Tell us anyway; it helps us decide what comes after launch.
You know the business, not double entry. Ledger asks plain questions — is this line postage or stock? — and keeps the debits and credits to itself.
One queue each week instead of a pile of statements, missing receipts chased for you, and a month that closes on a known day.
A login and a role of their own, the full trail, and the year-end pack in the files they ask for. They review and adjust; they do not rebuild the year from a box of receipts.
Each entity keeps its own books, reported apart or together, under one bill and one login.
Every Centilio tool shares one record and one login. Two of the tools around Ledger run today; the others arrive in their own waves.
Outside tools come later, and they will be listed only when they exist. Banks are designed to connect through feeds where a bank offers one, and through statement upload everywhere.
Invoices, credit notes and payments arrive as entries, with the customer and the tax on them.
Approved expenses and reimbursements arrive categorised, with the receipt attached.
Each approved payroll run posts salaries, deductions and employer costs to the right accounts.
Cash, profit and receivables from Ledger beside sales and projects from the other tools.
Statements, receipts and year-end files filed beside the entries they support.
One login, and the roles that decide who may post, approve, close or only read.
The books are where a business writes down what it earns, owes and pays its people. Ledger is designed around what it must never do with them.
We claim no certification for Ledger, because a product that is not built cannot hold one. When there is something true and dated to say, the security page will say it.
Proposed, in rupees; yearly billing saves about 20%. Nothing is charged until Ledger ships.

No. Ledger has not shipped: there is no app, no beta and no launch date yet. These pages are the product as designed, and the screen above runs on invented data. Join the waitlist and you will hear first.
Yes, that is the design. Your CA gets a login with a role of their own that sees the books and the audit trail without touching your other tools, and it never counts against your plan.
For many small businesses it is designed to. For others it will work alongside, with exports in the formats CAs expect, until a move makes sense. The compare pages set out where each option fits.
No. Ledger is designed to work from bank feeds and statement uploads on its own. Bill and Spend make it better, because invoices and expenses then arrive already described instead of as bare bank lines.
A rule matches text; Celia also weighs the amount, the customer, the open invoices and what you did last time, and tells you how sure it is. It never closes a month, files a return or moves money. A person approves, and the trail shows who.
Ledger is designed to prepare GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B from your invoices and purchases, with input tax credit checked against GSTR-2B. You or your CA review and file them. Nothing is submitted without a person’s approval.
Ledger is in the third wave of Centilio tools, after Bill. There is no date yet, and we will not publish one until we can keep it.
The proposed price is per business, not per seat: Free with one bank account, then Pro at ₹799 a month and Business at ₹1,999 a month. Everyone in the business and your CA are included, and nothing is charged until Ledger ships.
Ledger is in the third wave, after Bill, with Spend and Pay beside it. Join the waitlist and you will hear before the announcement. Tell us how you keep the books today and what your year-end looks like; the awkward requirements shape the design most.
