Choose QuickBooks if
Your accountant already works in it, you want a large catalogue of connected apps, and you need your books kept this month. It ships today and Ledger does not.
QuickBooks Online is cloud bookkeeping that many small businesses and their accountants already use, and it ships today. Ledger is designed for a business that wants its books built from the invoices, expenses and payroll it already records in Centilio, at one price for everyone. Here is where each fits, on facts that hold.
Product design preview · Ledger has not shipped. All features, screens and prices are proposals.
Everything on these pages — the screens, the features, the prices — is Centilio Ledger as designed. Ledger has not shipped: it sits in the third wave of Centilio tools, and there is no app, no beta and no launch date yet. We would rather set out the whole design and say so plainly than publish a thin page and let you guess. Join the waitlist and you will hear first; if you need an invoice today, the free invoice generator works now, with no sign-up.
Checked against the vendors’ public pages during research in 2026. We compare how each tool charges, not what it charges, because list prices move; if something here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.

Your accountant already works in it, you want a large catalogue of connected apps, and you need your books kept this month. It ships today and Ledger does not.
Your invoices, expenses and payroll will live in Centilio, you want one price for the business rather than a plan sized by users, your CA included, and you can wait for wave 3.
QuickBooks Online plans, as of research in 2026, each include a set number of users; going past that number means moving up a plan.
That is a reasonable model for a business where two people touch the books. It gets awkward when the office manager, an approver and a second director all need to see the numbers, because each of them pushes you toward the next tier.
Ledger is designed the other way round: one price for the business, with everyone in it and your CA included. Whether that is cheaper depends on how many people need the books, so count them, check Intuit’s current page, and compare.
For a small business that wants its books built from invoices, expenses and payroll already in Centilio, that is the design. It has not shipped, though, and QuickBooks has; if you need books kept this month, Ledger is not an option yet.
As of research in 2026, QuickBooks Online is sold in tiered monthly plans, each including a set number of users. Check Intuit’s page for today’s plans and prices.
That is the plan: start Ledger from opening balances on a clean date, keep QuickBooks read-only for earlier years, and run both for a month before you stop. How history imports will be stated here when it is decided.
Yes, with a role of their own, included on every plan. They can also take every ledger and report as spreadsheet and CSV files.
No. Ledger is in the third wave of Centilio tools and has no launch date yet. Join the waitlist and you will hear first.
Payroll is Pay, a separate Centilio tool in the same wave, India first. A payroll run approved in Pay is designed to post its totals to Ledger.
Ledger is in the third wave, after Bill, with Spend and Pay beside it. Join the waitlist and you will hear before the announcement. Tell us how you keep the books today and what your year-end looks like; the awkward requirements shape the design most.
