CENTILIO STOCK / MONEY

Stock: inventory management software that agrees with your invoices.

Stock is designed to know what you have because Bill knows what you sold and Shop knows what you shipped. Levels, reorder points, suppliers and locations are kept right by the transactions themselves rather than by a Sunday count. Priced per business, not per seat: free to start, then ₹799 a month for everyone (proposed).

Stock has not shipped yet.

Stock has not shipped. The console, the features, the plans and the prices on these pages are the design, set out in full so you can judge it long before it exists. Stock is in the fourth wave of Centilio tools — later than most — with no app, no beta and no date yet. Join the waitlist and you will be told first. Bill, whose invoices are designed to move the levels in Stock, is in the next wave, and Account, the login every Centilio tool shares, is live today.

Try it · the console as designed, sample data

Scan it. Sell it. Watch the level move.

This is the Stock console as designed, running on a fictional wholesaler: items with their levels by location, what is reserved for open orders, what is close to its reorder point and how many days each line has left. A purchase order drafted by Celia waits for approval. The screen is a design; the product behind it is not built.

  1. Add. Bring your items in from a spreadsheet or from your first supplier bills, with their variants, units and locations.
  2. Sell. Every invoice in Bill and every order in Shop takes stock out as it happens, so the level is right without a count.
  3. Reorder. When an item nears its reorder point, Celia drafts the purchase order at the supplier’s last price, and you approve it.
  4. Receive. Scan the delivery on any phone: the stock goes in, the supplier bill is matched and the value is posted to Ledger.
What changes

Fewer counts. Fewer stock-outs. Less cash on the shelf.

Three things people who run a stockroom ask of inventory software for small business, and what Stock is designed to give them.

Most small businesses keep stock in one of two places: a spreadsheet updated when someone remembers, or a separate inventory tool connected to the invoicing, the online store and the books. The spreadsheet drifts from the shelf by Tuesday. The separate tool drifts whenever a connection fails, and nobody notices until a customer orders something that is not there.

Stock management in Centilio is designed to sit in the same record as the sale. An invoice in Bill, an order in Shop and a supplier bill in Spend are the movements themselves, so there is nothing to sync and nothing to reconcile at month end. The level on the screen is the level on the shelf, give or take what someone dropped.

The level is right without a count

Each sale, purchase, transfer and return moves the number as it happens. A count is for checking, not for finding out.

You reorder before you run out

Reorder points for each item and location, and a forecast from what actually sold, so the order goes out while there is still stock on the shelf.

You see the cash tied up

Stock valued at cost by item and location, with the lines that have not moved in ninety days flagged for a decision.

Celia in Stock

Celia prepares. You decide.

Celia forecasts what will run out, drafts the purchase order, and flags the stock that never moves.

Celia reads the sales history of each item, the supplier’s usual lead time and what is already on order, and is designed to tell you which lines will run out before the next delivery could arrive. It drafts the purchase order with sensible quantities at the supplier’s last price, groups the lines by supplier and leaves it waiting for you.

It never places an order, never changes a level and never writes stock off. A person approves the order, a person counts the shelf, and every movement records who made it. Celia’s part is the forecast and the draft; the decision stays with whoever signs for the spend.

  1. A run-out forecast for every item, by location
  2. Draft purchase orders, grouped by supplier, at last prices
  3. Slow and dead stock flagged, with the cash tied up in it
  4. Counts that disagree with recent sales, flagged before they become write-offs

Sample screens, not connected services.

Who it is for

Stock management for people who buy, make and sell.

Traders, manufacturers, distributors, retailers and online stores: anyone whose money sits on a shelf before it comes back as a sale.

Stock is not designed for a large warehouse with pick robots and wave planning. If that is your business, a specialist warehouse system will serve you better; Stock is for the business where the owner still knows most of the shelves.

Traders and distributors

Many items, several suppliers and a warehouse or two. Reorder points, purchase orders and transfers between locations, with the level moved by every invoice.

Manufacturers

Raw materials in, finished goods out. Batches and expiry dates, units of measure from the case to the piece, and a value your accountant can post.

Retailers

A shop floor and a back room, maybe a second branch. Scan to receive and count, and see what is reserved for customers before you sell it twice.

Online stores

Orders in Shop reserve stock the moment they are placed, so the store does not sell what the shelf no longer holds.

Works with Centilio

Stock moves when the business does.

Every Centilio tool shares one record and one login, so a sale, a purchase and a level are one event seen from different tools. Bill is next; Ledger and Spend are on the way; Shop arrives in the same wave as Stock.

Trust

Every movement has a name and a reason.

Stock records are money in another form. Stock is designed so every change to them can be traced, and none happens by itself.

  1. Every movement records who, when and the document behind it
  2. Write-offs and adjustments need a reason, and on Business an approval
  3. Roles from Account decide who can count, order, approve or only view
  4. No data of yours is used to train any model
  5. No certification is claimed for a product that is not built

Questions

Questions about Stock, answered plainly.

Can I use Stock today?

No. Stock has not shipped: there is no app, no beta and no date yet. The console on this page is the design running on a fictional business. Join the waitlist to be told first.

Does Stock work with multiple warehouses?

Yes, that is the design: several locations, each with its own levels, and transfers between them. Free covers one location, Pro up to five and Business as many as you need.

Can it scan barcodes?

Yes, on any phone, by design. The camera works as the scanner for counting, receiving and picking, and Stock prints barcode and QR labels for items that do not have them.

Do I need Bill and Shop for Stock to work?

No. Stock is designed to work on its own, with sales and purchases recorded in Stock. With Bill and Shop the levels move by themselves, which is the point of it.

How does Celia help with reordering?

Celia forecasts which items will run out before the next delivery and drafts the purchase order with quantities and last prices. A person approves it; Celia never places an order.

Can I bring my items from a spreadsheet?

Yes, that is the design. Import items, variants, levels and locations from a spreadsheet, check the preview, and start from the levels you hold today.

When is Stock available?

Stock is in the fourth wave of Centilio tools, after Bill, Ledger and Spend. There is no date yet, and none will be published until it can be kept.

What will it cost?

The proposed price is per business, not per seat: Free for one location and up to three people, then Pro at ₹799 a month and Business at ₹1,999 a month. Nothing is charged until Stock ships.

Hear first when Stock opens.

Stock is in the fourth wave, after Bill, Ledger and Spend, whose invoices, books and supplier bills it is designed to read. Join the waitlist and you will be told before the announcement; in the meantime Account, Sign and Drive are live.
