Is one password manager best for every business?
No. Define required clients, identity flows, hosting, recovery, evidence and operating ownership. Test the requirements that would prevent adoption before comparing optional features.
Why are competitor prices not presented as fixed numbers?
Plans, promotions, billing periods and bundles change. Use each provider’s linked current pricing page and obtain quotes with the same users, term and requirements.
Is self-hosting exclusive to Centilio Vault?
No. Bitwarden also documents self-hosting, with plan-specific organisation licensing. Compare the actual deployment and licence terms rather than a blanket yes-or-no claim.
Will every field and attachment migrate unchanged?
Do not assume so. Test the exact source format and product versions with fictional records, then inspect fields, attachments, collections and access mapping.
Should we cancel the old product immediately after import?
Keep a controlled rollback path until the pilot, recovery and access checks are complete. Agree the cutover and retention process before cancelling or removing data.
