Stay on Google Workspace if
You have a small team, someone who keeps the sheets tidy, and leave, documents and payroll handovers are simple enough to run by hand.
Many small businesses run HR on Google Workspace: a sheet of names, a folder of contracts, leave requests by email. Team is designed as the people record that takes over when that stops being enough, while email and documents stay where they are. Team has not shipped; Workspace has, for years.

Team has not shipped. These pages set out Centilio Team as it is designed — the console, every feature, the plans and their proposed prices — so you can weigh it before it exists. It is part of the third wave of Centilio tools, coming after Hire, and has no beta and no launch date yet. Join the waitlist to be told first.
Set side by side as of research in 2026, on what each tool is, who it is built for and how it charges, rather than on list prices that move. Each vendor’s own page has today’s figures; tell us if this table falls behind.

You have a small team, someone who keeps the sheets tidy, and leave, documents and payroll handovers are simple enough to run by hand.
Leave balances, expiring documents and the monthly payroll handover have started to slip, you want one record per person with restricted fields, and you can wait for wave 3.
Team is not trying to replace your email, documents or calendar.
Most businesses that move their people into Team keep everything else where it is. The spreadsheet of names, the folder of contracts and the leave requests in email are the parts that move; the rest of the working day does not change.
The difference shows up at the edges: a starter’s record that begins from their offer in Hire, a contract that is signed and filed without an attachment, a salary only the right people can see, and a monthly handover to Pay that nobody has to copy by hand.
As of research in 2026, Google Workspace is sold as a suite of email, documents, sheets, forms and storage rather than as an HR system. Many small businesses build their HR on it with spreadsheets and shared folders.
That is the design. Export the sheet or point Team at the file, map the columns to the record, and Team marks what is missing.
No. Team uses the Centilio Account login and works whatever email and documents you use.
Approved leave in a shared calendar is part of the design. Which calendars are supported first will be decided with the people on the waitlist.
No. Team belongs to the third wave of Centilio tools, after Hire, and has no launch date. The waitlist hears first when that changes.
Yes, and most businesses will. Keep Workspace for email and documents, and keep the people record in Team.
Team follows Hire in the third wave, alongside Pay, which runs the salaries Team prepares. Join the waitlist for a note before anything is announced. Hire, Sign and Drive are yours to use in the meantime.
