Zendesk fits
a support team that lives in tickets, wants chat in the same queue, and is comfortable paying for each agent.
Zendesk is a mature customer service suite, and chat is one channel inside it. Greet is designed as chat first, for a small business that wants answers from its own articles, leads in a CRM and bookings in the same conversation. Zendesk is shipped; Greet is not.
Product design preview · Greet has not shipped. All features, screens and prices are proposals.
Greet has not shipped; Zendesk has, for years. If you need chat this week, Zendesk is a real option. This page compares the two designs on facts that rarely change.
As of research in 2026. Check Zendesk's own pages for current plans and prices; we do not quote them here.

Both can be right. It depends on the shape of your business.
a support team that lives in tickets, wants chat in the same queue, and is comfortable paying for each agent.
a small business where everyone helps, chat is the front desk, and the next step is a lead or a booking rather than a ticket.
Nothing stops you keeping Zendesk for support and trying Greet on one page when it opens.
Import tools are not built; this is the proposed path.
No. Greet is not built. It is designed as an alternative for small businesses that want chat as the front desk rather than as a channel into tickets.
Not by itself. A conversation that needs follow-up is designed to become a ticket in Care, Centilio's help desk, which is also on the way.
As of research in 2026, Zendesk prices per agent. Greet's proposed pricing is per business: Free, then ₹799 or ₹1,599 a month, with everyone who answers included.
Not directly. The proposed path is to bring your articles into Care, which is where Celia answers from.
For many support teams, yes. It is mature and widely used. Greet is designed for a different shape of business, not as a claim that Zendesk is wrong.
On Zendesk's own pricing page. We do not quote their prices because they change, and an out-of-date number is worse than none.
Greet is in the third wave, after Care. Leave your name and you will hear before the announcement, with the final plans and prices.
