Choose Microsoft Teams if…
Your business runs on Microsoft 365 and you want chat, meetings and files in one place your IT team already manages. It is shipped and deeply integrated, and Meet is not built.
Teams puts chat, channels, meetings and files in one app inside Microsoft 365, and for a business already on Microsoft 365 that is hard to beat. Meet is a design for one job: meetings that start from a booking or a chat and end with the notes filed to the customer or the project. This page compares the two on facts as of research in 2026.

Your business runs on Microsoft 365 and you want chat, meetings and files in one place your IT team already manages. It is shipped and deeply integrated, and Meet is not built.
Your calls are mostly with customers and clients, and you want the outcome of each one on the customer record or the project, approved by a person.
Meet is not built, so this is a plan, not a migration service.
For customer and client meetings inside Centilio, it is designed to be. For a business that runs on Microsoft 365, Teams is already there and works today, and Meet is not built yet.
Schedule a meeting from Outlook or the Teams calendar, or start one from a chat or a channel, and guests join from the link in the app or a browser. That is Microsoft’s own flow as of research in 2026; check Microsoft’s help pages for the current steps.

On eligible licences, Copilot and intelligent recap can summarise Teams meetings, as of research in 2026. Meet’s difference is where the approved notes go: to the customer or the project.
Meet is designed so you can keep using other tools and still let Celia file the notes. Which tools, and how, will be confirmed before launch.
One app for chat, meetings and files, managed by your IT team, and a tool that is shipped. Meet is a design, and a tool that works today is worth more than one that does not exist yet.
Meet is in the third wave of Centilio tools, after the tools that are live today and the wave being built next. Join the waitlist and you will hear before the announcement.
