The run is right before you see it
Leave, joiners, leavers and revisions come from Team, so the run starts complete and every change from last month is explained before you approve.
Pay runs payroll from what Team already knows: who worked, who was on leave, what changed. Salaries, PF, ESI, TDS and professional tax are prepared; you review one screen; people are paid on the day and get their payslips on their phones. Priced per business, not per employee: free for up to five people, then ₹799 a month.
Product design preview · Pay has not shipped. All features, screens and prices are proposals.
Everything on these pages — the screens, the features, the prices — is Centilio Pay as designed. Pay has not shipped: it sits in the third wave of Centilio tools, after Team and Ledger, and there is no app, no beta and no launch date yet. At launch it is designed to run payroll in India only. We would rather set out the whole design and say so plainly than publish a thin page; join the waitlist and you will hear first.
This is the Pay screen as designed, running on a fictional business, Tamarind Lane Foods: October’s run prepared from Team, three changes explained, and one employee whose tax needs a document. The data is invented and the product behind it is not built yet.
Small business payroll is mostly the same job every month, done under pressure in the last three days. Pay is designed to do that job from what the business already knows, so the part left for you is a review.
Leave, joiners, leavers and revisions come from Team, so the run starts complete and every change from last month is explained before you approve.
Approve once and the payment file goes to your bank for pay day; payslips reach phones the same morning.
PF, ESI, TDS and professional tax are computed with the run and their filings prepared, so the due date is a check, not a scramble.
Celia prepares the run, explains every change from last month, and flags anything unusual before you approve. It never pays without a person’s approval.
Each month Celia compares the new run with the last one and writes down why each person’s pay moved: two days of unpaid leave, a revision from 1 October, a first salary prorated from the joining date. It checks the statutory figures against the rules and against last month, and it tells you when something is missing, such as rent receipts for an HRA claim or a PAN that does not match.
It never releases a payment, never submits a filing on its own and never changes a salary. It prepares; a person approves; the trail records what Celia drafted and who accepted it. After the run it drafts a short summary for the owner and a working file for the accountant, both for a person to read before anyone else does.
22 features, each designed and placed on a proposed plan. None of them is running yet.

Indian businesses of five to five hundred people, and their accountants. India first, because that is where the complexity is; other countries follow.
You should not need to know the ESI wage limit or the professional tax slab in each state. Pay is designed to know them and to show you what they mean for each person.
One review screen instead of a workbook, declarations collected on phones, and a month that ends with filings prepared instead of reminders set.
A role of their own across runs, filings and reports, and a working file each month instead of a request for the salary sheet.
Kitchens, stores or offices in different states, each with its own professional tax slab and pay date, run from one login.
Every Centilio tool shares one record and one login. Three of the tools around Pay run today; the others arrive in their own waves.
Outside tools come later, and they will be listed only when they exist. Salary payments are designed to leave through a payment file for your bank.
People, leave, attendance and salary changes: the record a run is prepared from.
Every approved run posted as salaries, deductions and employer costs.
Approved expense claims added to the run and reimbursed with salary.
The person you hire becomes a joiner in Team and, a month later, a first payslip.
Payslips, Form 16s and filings filed under each person and each month.
One login, and the roles that decide who may prepare, approve or only read.
Payroll is the most private record a business keeps. Pay is designed around what it must never do with it.
We claim no certification for Pay, because a product that is not built cannot hold one. When there is something true and dated to say, the security page will say it.
Proposed, in rupees; yearly billing saves about 20%. Nothing is charged until Pay ships.

No. Pay has not shipped: there is no app, no beta and no launch date yet. These pages are the product as designed, and the screen above runs on invented data. Join the waitlist and you will hear first.
India at launch, with its statutory compliance: PF, ESI, TDS and professional tax. Other countries follow by demand, so if you pay people elsewhere, tell us where.
It prepares the filings and, where the authority allows, submits them on your approval. Where it does not, the file is ready for you or your CA to upload.
Pay is designed to start from Team, which holds people, leave and attendance, so a run begins complete. Whether Pay will also run from an uploaded sheet alone will be decided before launch and stated here.
No. Celia prepares the run, explains every change from last month and flags anything unusual, but it never pays without a person’s approval. The trail records who approved and when.
Yes, that is the design. Your CA gets a role of their own that sees runs, filings and reports, and it never counts against your plan.
Pay is in the third wave of Centilio tools, after Team and Ledger. There is no date yet, and we will not publish one until we can keep it.
The proposed price is per business, not per employee: Free for up to five people, then Pro at ₹799 a month for up to 50 and Business at ₹1,999 for up to 500. Nothing is charged until Pay ships.
Pay is in the third wave, after Team and Ledger, and it starts with India. Join the waitlist and you will hear before the announcement. Tell us how many people you pay, in which states, and what goes wrong in your month today; that shapes the design more than anything else.
