The difference

Databox is built to gather numbers from the tools a business already has. Insight is designed for a business whose tools are already one.
When sales, invoicing, accounts, projects and support are separate products, a dashboard has to connect each one and line up the numbers. When they are Centilio tools, they already share one record: the deal, its invoice, its payment and its project are the same thing seen from four sides. Insight is designed to read that record directly.
Many businesses will use both: Databox for KPIs from tools outside Centilio, Insight for the weekly view of the business itself.
If you switch, later
What moving from Databox would take.
- Keep the old dashboard running. Insight is designed to sit beside it, so nothing has to be switched off on the first day.
- Start with the weekly five. Pick the five numbers you check every Monday and see whether Insight shows them the way you expect.
- Bring the odd ones as spreadsheets. A figure that lives outside Centilio can come in as an import while Loop connectors are built.
- Compare for two weeks, then decide. When the two agree, keep the one that took less of your time.

Does Databox have a free plan?
Yes, Databox offers a free plan with limits, and paid plans in tiers, as of research in 2026. Check Databox’s page for today’s detail.
Does Insight need connectors?
Not for Centilio data, by design. Every Centilio tool shares one record, so Insight reads sales, invoices, cash, projects and support with nothing to set up; outside data comes in through Loop and spreadsheets.
Can Insight track marketing KPIs?
Only what arrives in Centilio or comes in through Loop and spreadsheet imports. If most of your KPIs live in advertising and analytics tools, a connector-first dashboard is the better fit today.
Will Insight have templates?
It is designed to open on the reports every business needs, so the first screen is already built. You can save any answer as a tile and arrange your own.
Is Insight available now?
No. Insight is in the third wave of Centilio tools and has no launch date yet. Join the waitlist to be told first.
Can I use both?
