Centilio LedgerLayered record
CENTILIO LEDGER / MONEY

Integrated accounting software packages, with one login and one record.

Ledger is designed to book what the other Centilio tools already record: invoices and payments from Bill, expenses from Spend, payroll from Pay. Insight reads the result, Drive files the evidence, and Account decides who sees what. Banks connect through feeds where they exist and statement upload everywhere.

Ledger has not shipped yet.

Everything on these pages — the screens, the features, the prices — is Centilio Ledger as designed. Ledger has not shipped: it sits in the third wave of Centilio tools, and there is no app, no beta and no launch date yet. We would rather set out the whole design and say so plainly than publish a thin page and let you guess. Join the waitlist and you will hear first; if you need an invoice today, the free invoice generator works now, with no sign-up.

What flows where

One sale, from invoice to report.

Nothing is copied by hand, which is the point: every entry in Ledger can be followed back to where it started.

  1. From Bill: the invoice, its customer, lines and tax, then the payment when it lands.
  2. From Spend: the approved expense, its receipt and the person who approved it.
  3. From Pay: the payroll run, split into salaries, deductions and employer costs.
  4. From the bank: every line, matched to one of the above or queued for review.
  5. To Insight: cash, profit and receivables, beside sales and projects.
  6. To Drive: statements, receipts and the year-end pack, filed beside the entries.
Files

Banks, statements and spreadsheets.

Most books still start with a bank statement. Ledger is designed to make that the easy part.

Where your bank offers a feed, Ledger is designed to read it every day; where it does not, upload the statement and the lines are read for you. Which banks have feeds at launch will be listed here when it is true.

Opening balances and a chart of accounts can be brought in from a spreadsheet, and every ledger and report exports back to spreadsheet and CSV files for your accountant.

Beyond Centilio

Outside tools: listed when they are real.

Ledger has no outside integrations today, because Ledger does not exist today.

Which outside tools come first will be decided with the people on the waitlist. Tell us which tools your books depend on — the till, the online store, the payment provider — and they will appear here, marked planned or live, only when they are.

An API is proposed on the Business plan. It will be documented here when it exists, not before.

Questions

About connecting things.

Which integrations work today?

None, because Ledger has not shipped. Drive and Account run on their own today, and Ledger is designed to work with them from the first day it opens.

Do I need the other Centilio tools?

No. Ledger is designed to work from bank feeds and statement uploads alone. Each connected tool means fewer bare bank lines and more entries that arrive already described.

Will Ledger connect to my bank?

Through a feed where your bank offers one, and through statement upload where it does not. The list of banks with feeds will be published when it is real.

Can I export to your accountant’s tool?

Every ledger, the trial balance and the standard reports are designed to export to spreadsheet and CSV files, the formats accountants import most often. Direct exports to named tools will be listed here only when they exist.

Is there an API?

An API is proposed on Business. It will be documented here once it exists.

How does a payroll run reach the books?

When a run is approved in Pay, it is designed to post salaries, deductions and employer costs to the accounts you chose, with the run linked. Payslip detail stays in Pay; Ledger holds the totals and the trail.

Hear first when Ledger opens.

Ledger is in the third wave, after Bill, with Spend and Pay beside it. Join the waitlist and you will hear before the announcement. Tell us how you keep the books today and what your year-end looks like; the awkward requirements shape the design most.
