A written statement sets out the terms of an occupation contract under the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016, using the model for a secure, periodic standard or fixed term standard contract. The landlord fills in the model and issues it to the contract-holder before or within 14 days of the occupation date, and the contract-holder and the landlord sign it to show they agree.

  2. Choose who fills each one: the landlord fills in the key matters and any additional terms, and the contract-holder and landlord sign.
  3. Send it to the contract-holder within 14 days of the occupation date.
