CENTILIO PULSE / SELL · EMBER

Looking for an Instantly alternative? Only if you also send a newsletter.

Historical comparison from Fable’s September 2026 research, not a current vendor quote. Confirm current provider features, prices, currency and billing periods. Pulse is unbuilt. Instantly is built for one job and does it well: high-volume cold outreach, from $47 a month for 5,000 emails on Growth to $97 for 125,000 on Hypergrowth and $358 on Lightspeed, with unlimited email accounts throughout. What it does not do is a newsletter — so a business that does both ends up with two products, two suppression lists and $67 a month for one job. Centilio Pulse does both halves on one list, one domain and one sending reputation, from $19 a month.

What moving from Instantly will take.

Choose Instantly if

Outbound is the whole business. You are running hundreds of thousands of cold emails across many domains, you want their lead database, and you do not send a newsletter at all. Pulse will deliberately refuse to send at the volumes you need on day one.

Choose Centilio Pulse if

You do both. A newsletter to customers and sequences to prospects are the same list, the same domain and the same reputation, and paying two vendors to keep two suppression lists that disagree is how people accidentally email someone who unsubscribed.

  1. Export the suppression list first. Everyone who ever unsubscribed or complained on Instantly, before anything else. Emailing a past unsubscriber is the worst first send you can make, and it is the mistake this migration produces most often.
  2. Authenticate before you import. SPF, DKIM and DMARC verified on the new tool, so your first send is not also your first experiment.
  3. Start with your best segment. The people who opened something recently. A first send that gets read and answered establishes the new setup; a first send to the whole list establishes the opposite.
  4. Proposed approach: authenticate first, preserve suppressions, and increase volume only as relevant delivery and complaint evidence supports it. There is no fixed warmup or migration duration that guarantees inbox placement.
Questions

About switching.

Is Centilio Pulse a Mailchimp alternative?

Historical comparison from Fable’s September 2026 research, not a current vendor quote. Confirm current provider features, prices, currency and billing periods. Pulse is unbuilt. For a business that wants campaigns, sequences and outbound on one list, yes — and with unlimited contacts instead of a price that climbs as your list grows. For a Shopify store that needs product-feed automation, no; that is Klaviyo.

Is it a Klaviyo alternative?

Historical comparison from Fable’s September 2026 research, not a current vendor quote. Confirm current provider features, prices, currency and billing periods. Pulse is unbuilt. For a business that is not an ecommerce store, yes. For one that is, Klaviyo is genuinely the best product in that niche and we would rather say so than sell you a year of disappointment.

Is it an Instantly or Smartlead alternative?

For a business that also sends a newsletter, yes, and it is the only tool on this list that does both on one list and one reputation. For an agency running high-volume outbound across dozens of domains, no — they are built for that and we are not.

Is it a Brevo alternative?

Historical comparison from Fable’s September 2026 research, not a current vendor quote. Confirm current provider features, prices, currency and billing periods. Pulse is unbuilt. It is aimed at the same buyer, and Brevo is the only large vendor that already prices the right way, by emails sent rather than contacts stored. Our argument is that they then charge extra for removing their own logo and sell SMS credits separately, and that replies going onto a customer record is worth more than either.
