Where it fits
For a home someone lives in. In Ontario use the province's Standard Form of Lease, which is mandatory for most tenancies, in Quebec the mandatory lease form, and in British Columbia a tenancy agreement with the standard terms. Not for England, where new tenancies follow the Renters' Rights Act 2025. Use the commercial lease for a shop or office and the rent agreement for India.
Before you rely on it
Original Centilio wording, plain and fair to both sides, not legal advice. Landlord and tenant law is local: notice periods, deposit limits, late fees and required disclosures differ by state, province and country, and Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia require their own lease forms or terms. Have a lawyer where the home is read it and add any local disclosure before you approve it.
