Compliance in a small business mostly means the right record, signed, current and findable, seen only by the people who should see it. Team is designed to keep those records encrypted, restricted by the roles you set in Account, traced change by change, and never used to train anything. None of it is running yet, and nothing here is a certification.

Boundaries

A people record holds salaries, bank details, health notes and home addresses. The design starts from what Team should never do with them.

Compliance
The records compliance depends on, kept in date.
Most of HR compliance is a handful of records kept true and on time. Team is designed to keep them, and to warn before one goes out of date.
Team gives no legal advice and does not make a business compliant by itself. It keeps the evidence in one place, current and traceable, so that when a question comes the answer takes minutes.

Roles and audit
Roles from Account, and a trail for every record.
Who may see, change or approve each part of a record comes from Account, the same login and roles as every Centilio tool.
There is no second list of people to keep in step. When someone leaves and is removed in Account, they lose access to Team and every other Centilio tool at once.
Every change to a record is kept with its author and time. On Business, changes to salary or role need a second approver, and the whole trail can be exported.

Celia’s boundaries
Celia sees only what the person asking may see.
An assistant that can read every salary is a leak waiting for a question. Celia is designed not to be one.
When a manager asks Celia for a letter or a summary, Celia reads only the records that manager is allowed to read. A draft never carries a figure the person asking could not see for themselves.
It never approves, sends, changes or pays anything. Its drafts stay drafts until a person accepts them, and the record shows which words were Celia’s and who approved them.

Records are designed to be encrypted in transit and at rest, inside your organisation’s own space, with MFA and device rules from Account. We claim no certification for Team, because there is no running product to audit. When there is something true and dated to say, this page will say it.

About people data and trust.
Is Team secure today?
There is no Team running today, so there is nothing yet to secure, test or certify. This page sets out the design, and it will be rewritten with what is true and dated when Team ships.
Does Team make my business compliant?
No tool can do that by itself. Team is designed to keep the records compliance depends on — signed policies, documents in date, registers prepared with Pay — and to show who did what; the rules you follow, and any advice on them, stay with you and your adviser.
Who can see salaries?
Only the roles you allow in Account. A manager sees their team’s leave and attendance, not their pay, unless you decide otherwise.
Are employee records used to train AI?
No. Nothing in your records is used to train anything. Celia reads them only to serve your business, inside your own space.
Can Celia change a record or approve leave?
No. Celia drafts, reminds and prepares; a person approves. It never changes a salary, approves leave, sends a letter or runs payroll by itself.
What happens to a leaver’s access?
The exit checklist is designed to remove their access in Account and their shared passwords in Vault on their last day. Both steps are recorded with the time and the person who did them.
Do you hold a certification for Team?
No, and none is claimed for a product that has not shipped. When there is something true and dated to say, it will appear on this page with its date.
